The 2009 Lake Erie Racing Team

Al was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on the 21st of May, 1955 and currently has been residing in Medina, Ohio for the past 7 years. Al lives with his girlfriend, Cathy. They have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 rabbits. Al's son, Shawn, lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his twin grandsons, Taylor and Tristan. Al owns a 1982 Harley Davidson 93 cu-in Shovel Head FLH which he has completely rebuilt and painted.

Alan first met Mike Rice when he moved into the neighborhood in the spring of 1996. He saw the Chevy School Bus with the FBM Pro Fuel Racing Harley Sign on it. He introduced himself to Mike and the Crew who were preparing to go to a race in Xenia, Ohio. At the race, he saw Mike perform really well. The sounds and smell of the Nitro Burning Motor in the pits got him hooked. He offered to drive the bus if they needed a driver and later became The Road Boss. Al has become the general mechanic and "will do whatever is necessary to make it happen!"

When he's not at the Drag Strip or at Chris's working on Top Fuel Motorcycles, Al works for the Medina County Water Department. Al likes to ride his street bike and has a Business Degree from Northwood University at the Midland, Michigan Campus
